Kuwait
The 2014 Kuwait Pavilion focuses on the formation of the state through commissioned architectural works and investigates the impact of modernization on the nation's history. The pavilion focuses on the Kuwait National Museum and the projects commissioned to function primarily as symbols of progress. The exhibition aims to generate meaning and restore a sense of ownership and responsibility over Kuwait's built environment. The exhibition is artist-curated and researcher-informed and includes various components, including a joint installation with the Nordic Pavilion and a film being produced inside the Kuwait Pavilion.

Fun, colourful and thought-provoking, it offers a tongue-in-cheek moment to the Arsenale sequence...
