Convertible City exhibition focuses on the continuity and conversion of potential available on the periphery for new urban spaces. The exhibition presents projects that meet the requirements of the constantly changing society and culture through the flexibility of thinking and sustainability. It is an inspiration for new concepts of living and an alternative to urban sprawl. The German contribution examines stimulating conversions in existing urban spaces that enrich the dynamics of design.

Latvia is reopening the archive boxes once again, reminding us (including the Biennial Presidency) of everything that has already been thought up and invented, and inviting us to place the most urgently needed products in the basket, to combine them with one another, and ultimately consume all the knowledge.
Fun, colourful and thought-provoking, it offers a tongue-in-cheek moment to the Arsenale sequence...
