Friendship Project - Sculpture And Architecture Of Art

Republic Of San Marino

The San Marino Pavilion at the 2021 Architecture Biennale explores the contribution contemporary art can make to the future of architecture and the need to recreate a sense of decoration in buildings. The pavilion celebrates the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between San Marino and China through a comparison of Chinese sculptors and Sammarinese architects. The aim is to ask questions and provide answers about the role of decoration in architecture, which is crucial in creating unique cities.
