The project "Places of Memory" explores the main theme of the 14th International Architecture Exhibition through perceptions and experiences rather than conducting a historical account of the modern epoch in Turkey. The project idea departs from three areas of Istanbul, each with personal significance to the architect Murat Tabanlioglu. The focus of the exhibition is on the concept of place itself, incorporated with the subjective vision of each exhibitor in the team.

Latvia is reopening the archive boxes once again, reminding us (including the Biennial Presidency) of everything that has already been thought up and invented, and inviting us to place the most urgently needed products in the basket, to combine them with one another, and ultimately consume all the knowledge.
Fun, colourful and thought-provoking, it offers a tongue-in-cheek moment to the Arsenale sequence...
